Andrew is a water resource engineer with more than 20 years’ experience helping clients make confident decisions about complex water systems. Working with councils, government agencies, water users and land developers, he combines deep technical expertise with a practical understanding of how water behaves in the real world, providing evidence that stands up to technical, regulatory and legal scrutiny.
Specialising in hydrology, groundwater and water resource modelling, Andrew helps clients understand water availability, demand and system performance to support planning, consenting and investment decisions. He is particularly skilled at working with imperfect or incomplete datasets, extracting reliable insights from river flow, groundwater and climate records to build a clear and defensible picture of how water systems function.
Andrew has led and contributed to major investigations across New Zealand, including national-scale studies for central government and strategic assessments for regional councils.
