Jim has been involved in Electronic Engineering and Manufacturing for over 40 years.

He has been involved with Telemetry and Control products for almost all of his working life, working in roles in manufacturing, project engineering, product design management, sales and management.

Over the last 20 years he has been involved in the agricultural sector and was involved in the commercialisation of the Aquaflex Soil Moisture Sensor and related Telemetry.

After a recent purchase of an extra block of land we needed to go through an audit process with our Irrigation Scheme in order to allow a change of land use. To achieve this we need to secure an A+ audit result.

We achieved this, due in a large part due to the fact we had Aqualinc Soil Moisture Measurement systems in place and could prove that we were using these to optimise our Irrigation Management and ensure no irrigation related drainage events. Our Sharemilker is a strong advocate of the Soil Moisture Systems and uses them as a key part of their management of the irrigation systems.

An interesting aside to this is when the Irrigators were serviced recently the maintenance crew commented that our run-times for the last season were significantly less than for other irrigators in the area.
